The IAC is a multi-functional inter-association cntre, an international centre for resident, affiliated or visiting associations, a place for reception and information, for meeting and conferences. It is the headquarters and registered office of the associations having their offices there or in another building close by, also run by the MAI, on the corner of Avenue Louise and Rue Defacqz.

The IAC offers services to member associations of the FAIB (Federation of International Associations established in Belgium), such accommodation address, and the shared use of various items of office equipment.
